I understood my teenage years through the help and influence of Tumblr, music, and the celebrities and musicians I looked up to. While working on this project, I acknowledged and reflected on the challenges I overcame during my teenage journey, such as bullying and verbal abuse. In addition to not having a safe place in real life, I was creating and connecting with a community online. 

In this project, I re-created a time when many cultures and subcultures had no room for judgment. For instance, my collages used a mix of soft grunge and indie aesthetics. 

 This project included images portraying my experiences of emotions like insanity and depression. I used photographs and collages to describe my journey of understanding people and objects that once had meanings different from what they have now, exploring feelings like rainbows and sunshine, to depression, storms, and snowstorms.
